The 2010 annual mixed fours competition was originally intended to be played over 5 sessions on Thursday nights starting on 11 February.
However, due to unusual inclement weather conditions it was reduced to 3 sessions on 11th, 18th & 25th of February.
The tournament attracted 9 home teams and 1 visiting team.
Prize winners were as follows:
First prize (on a score difference count-down) Tony Blackman’s team receiving a prize of R1600.00
Second prize went to Norman Morris’ team receiving a prize of R800.00.
Third prize was won by Ronnie Bresgi’s team with a prize of R 400.00.
Twilight Bowls (Convenor Mike Gordon)
The ever popular twilight mixed, men’s and/or lady’s 3 bowl pairs attracted 14 teams
of which 2 were visiting teams and was played over 5 sessions
on March 11TH, 18TH, 25TH and April 15TH and 22ND.
Since the tournament was played later in the year than usual (previously in January),
the format was changed for the last 2 sessions to take account of the early darkness.
The winners were as follows:

Easter Tournament (Convenor Mervyn Datt)
As usual our annual Easter weekend tournament played over 4 sessions on 2ND, 3RD, 4TH and 5TH April was very well supported.
Played as mixed fours open tab draw each day in 2 sets of 10 ends each with participating members having to pay an extra R50 to cover prizes.
A condition of entry was that players must play on 3 of the 4 days to qualify for prizes which are calculated individually. Unfortunately the first day had to be cancelled due to heavy rain and the condition of entry was reduced to 2 days out of the 3 days played.
Prizes were awarded based on each players’ top 4 scores as follows:
