FULL CORPORATE GOLF MEMBERSHIP SPECIAL  -  2013

(Incorporating Killarney Golf Club and Killarney Bowling Club)

The Killarney Country Club (KCC) is proud to introduce a prestigious Corporate Membership package which was designed for businesses who wish to make use of the clubs extensive first-rate facilities to host and entertain their clients. Now there is no need to limit your activities to the boardroom, when you can conduct business, meet and entertain your clients in the relaxed, congenial atmosphere of KCC.

KCC is centrally located alongside the M1 motorway within easy reach of Sandton, Rosebank, Hyde Park and the CBD offering the perfect combination of accessibility, peaceful surroundings, and well-kept facilities.

As a Corporate Member you will have automatic access to the following:

SPORTING FACILITIES

• A pristine 18-hole Robert Trent-Jones designed golf course, ranked as one of the most challenging courses in South Africa
• Four well-appointed bowling greens one of which is floodlit
• Eight all-weather tennis courts, four of which are floodlit
• Six squash courts, one of which is glass walled and features a grandstand
• Fully equipped gymnasium
• Swimming pools
• Sauna and stea room facilities

BANQUETING & CONFERENCE VENUES

Whether you wish to entertain five or 500, KCC is able to provide a choice of fully catered venues that are sure to meet your needs. They include:

THE CRYSTAL ROOM
The Crystal Room is pleasant and congenial with pre-assembly area and verandah patio. It is suitable for all occasions including receptions, launches, conferences and exhibitions, the perfect place to make a good impression.

THE GAZEBO ROOM
A light and airy venue with magnificent views overlooking the 18th hole with its water features and birdlife and forest lined fairways.

THE TERRACE ROOM
This venue leads gently onto a pleasant garden patio, suited to hosting smaller dinners and conferences.

THE KILLARNEY BOWL
With a seating capacity of 144, this room offers its own private bar with outdoor braai-facility.

COURTYARD ROOM 1
The Courtyard room is ideal for the more intimate function or meeting with less than 15 people.

THE SIDE BAR
With a view of the water around the beautiful 18th hole, this venue is ideal for up to 30 guests for breakfasts, lunches or dinners.

All of these venues have the option of Kosher catering and a full bar service.

THE 19th HOLE
With a wonderful view overlooking the water and the 18th green, our bar is the ideal venue for sundowners and a light snack, or alternatively you and your guests can enjoy a pub-style lunch served daily.

HOW THE CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP WORKS

Your company will be issued seven KCC memberships, six will be issued to specific company members who will be handicapped at KCC and be allowed full access to the golf course through the usual booking processes. The seventh will be a “floating” membership and used for social golf purposes only. All these members may play golf free of charge on any weekday morning (Tuesdays to Fridays inclusive), excluding caddy fee and tip. Should your company wish to add golf members to your Corporate Membership, you may do so at discounted fees per member, per annum. Spouses are given free social status to the club and may use the food and beverage facilities on offer, along with the use of the gymnasium and swimming pool. Companies who wish to take up this form of membership have to ensure that the parties joining are gainfully employed by the company, proof of such employment may be requested.

CORPORATE GOLF DAY
Your Corporate Membership entitles you to one complimentary corporate golf day per year of up to 120 players with no green fees to be paid, together with the use of the Crystal Room or The Killarney Bowl for your prize giving and evening entertainment.
All catering and beverages are to be arranged and paid for through the relevant Co-ordinators.
The co-ordination, invitations and bookings for your event are your own responsibility.
Should your Corporate Golf Day require other sporting facilities such as Bowls, Squash or Tennis, these facilities will be included at no extra charge.
All golf bookings are to be done through the Sports Co-ordinator on (011) 442 7411 and catering arrangements which have to be done through the Club must be made through our Catering Department.

SATURDAY SPONSORED COMPETITION
Your Company has the option of sponsoring our Saturday Competition for the members of Killarney Golf Club. This will allow you to display your company identity via banners, flags, logos etc on the practice putting green, starters area, back of green surrounds, outside the clubhouse and the main bar area. We would require that you provide prizes to cover a minimum of 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize. 
Bookings for these sponsored days are made through the Golf Captain.

All rounds of golf are to be booked through the golf office on (011) 442 3880; it is advisable to book at least one week in advance to avoid disappointment.

OTHER FACILITIES
The package entitles you to full use of the Clubs facilities, which includes Bowls, Tennis, Squash, Gymnasium and Swimming Pool and includes three free golf lessons per annum with our resident teaching professional who is listed as one of the top 20 teaching professionals in South Africa.

Your Corporate Membership also entitles you to the free use of the Crystal Room once per annum which may be used to coincide with your Corporate Golf Day or for a company banquet or conference.

FEE STRUCTURE
This attractive Corporate Membership package is available at R49,750.00 per annum VAT included for the year 2012. The Corporate Membership Package fee excludes all playing fees and includes levies applicable to any sporting section. The above stated subscription would be subject to a 5% discount if paid by 31st January 2012. All subscription fees must however be paid no later than, the end of February of each year.

CONDITIONS

• Corporate Membership validity is for one year only and commences on the 1 January and terminates on the 31 December of each year and is renewable annually in advance.
• Corporate Membership subscription will be pro-rated from the date of joining for the joining year only.
• All rules pertaining to the club are to be adhered to at all times.
• All new Corporate Membership applications will be administered in the same way as individual applications, e.g. Names will be posted for 30 days and applicants must attend an orientation meeting prior to joining. 
• Golf tee-off times are subject to availability.
• Free corporate golf day must be utilized in the current year and is not transferable.
• All corporate Membership fees are paid annually in advance.
• The Club must be notified in writing of any membership changes.
• The Club reserves the right to terminate the Corporate Membership category prior to a new year commencing.
• Free morning field golf rounds are excluded over Public Holidays.
• Fees quoted exclude all playing fees.
